We’ll be attending the Controlled Environment Users’ Group (CEUG) Annual Meeting on 9–10 September 2025, held at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) East Malling in Kent.
CEUG is a long-established network bringing together researchers, facility managers and manufacturers who work with controlled environments for research into plants, invertebrate animals and ecosystems. Its members represent leading universities, research institutions and commercial organisations from across the UK and Europe.
This year’s conference theme: ‘Sustainability and Circularity in Horticulture’, reflects the growing need to explore how environmental research and innovation can support more efficient, resource-conscious systems in crop and plant science. Through talks, tours and trade displays, the event will spotlight solutions that promote not just sustainability, but circular practices that reduce waste and maximise value throughout the horticultural lifecycle.
As one of only nine selected trade exhibitors, we’ll be on hand to discuss how our environmental test chambers support controlled environment research while aligning with wider sustainability goals. From chambers that run on natural refrigerants like CO2 to solutions designed for energy efficiency and long-term performance, we’re proud to support researchers working at the intersection of scientific progress and environmental responsibility.
The event will be hosted at NIAB East Malling, a nationally recognised centre of excellence in commercial horticulture and the UK’s largest horticultural research and development organisation. Specialising in perennial and clonally propagated crops, NIAB East Malling delivers cutting-edge research and practical solutions to help improve crop resilience, yield and efficiency, making it an idea venue for a conference focused on sustainable innovation.
We’re looking forward to contributing to this year’s discussions and sharing how our environmental simulation technology plays a role in supporting innovation and sustainability in climate-controlled research environments.
