Check your cooling water
Ensuring adequate cooling water flow helps prevent the compressor from overheating and maintains optimal cooling performance. For best results, use clean water with:
- Water hardness: no greater than 8°dH
- Conductivity: below 500 µS/cm
- Inlet water temperature: between 12–28°C
- Water pressure: within the range specified in the equipment manual
It’s also important to clean the dirt filter regularly. A blocked or dirty filter can restrict water flow, potentially affecting cooling performance and putting additional strain on the system.
Regular checks of water quality, temperature, pressure and flow can help maintain reliable operation and protect your equipment.
