Weiss Technik UK are proud to be gold sponsors of Charnwood Campus’ Innovation, Productivity & Health Inequalities event, which is taking place on Tuesday 6th February as part of the Leicestershire Innovation Festival 2024.
The annual festival includes a number of events spread out over a two week period, offering a diverse range of events that promote the practical benefits of innovation to a host of industries and interest groups. The festival’s unique format facilitates collaboration among partners spanning various sectors and industries, kicking off with public event led by Innovation Board Members. The end of the festival is marked by the University of Leicester’s Innovation Friday, providing a fitting conclusion to this celebration of innovation and progress.
The Charnwood event will take place on the second day of the festival at their science park in Loughborough. It promises to be an insightful exploration into the profound effects of health disparities and inequalities on both physical and mental well-being, as well as the life opportunities of those most impacted. The day’s agenda consists of a morning plenary session featuring representatives from the NHS, Industry and third sector. The afternoon session will focus on innovation and productivity, including two panel sessions that feed into the implications health inequalities have on individuals and communities.
