FRAUNHOFER CAP GLASGOW

Weiss Business Development Manager, Frazer North, who coordinated the installation of the chamber, said, “We are particularly pleased with the result for Fraunhofer CAP, a new customer. The ClimeEvent chamber provides exceptional performance attributes and we augmented the unit with a special hot air port to meet the client’s needs. The installation provided a challenge as the access to the laboratory was tight. However, as we developed the specification of the project, we had time to plan the installation and myself and our regional service engineer Dave Archer, successfully assisted in the offloading and positioning of the new chamber and commissioned it satisfactorily.

John Leck at Fraunhofer CAP commented, “This is the first time we have deployed an in-house test chamber to assist with our laser development programmes. Weiss Technik came highly recommended and we have been really pleased with the way Frazer and the team have responded to meet our needs precisely. For peace of mind, we also opted to take a 3 year warranty which includes full service and maintenance; it makes total commercial sense”.
