Weiss Technik UK to Attend the Annual CEUG International Meeting 2026

Supporting innovation in controlled environment agriculture and plant science research.

Weiss Technik UK is pleased to announce that we will once again be attending the Controlled Environment Users' Group (CEUG) International Meeting 2026. As regular participants who attend this important industry event every year, we value the opportunity to engage with the controlled environment research community and contribute to ongoing discussions shaping the future of the sector.

This year's event is particularly significant, as 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of CEUG. Founded in 1966, the organisation has spent six decades supporting collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation within the controlled environment sector. To celebrate this milestone, the annual meeting has been extended to four days, giving attendees even more opportunities to connect, learn and reflect on the group's achievements while looking ahead to the future of controlled environment science.

Taking place from 6–9 September at the University of Edinburgh and The James Hutton Institute in Dundee, the CEUG International Meeting will bring together researchers, facility managers, manufacturers and industry experts from across the UK and beyond. The expanded programme will feature presentations, technical discussions, networking sessions and facility tours, providing a comprehensive platform for the exchange of ideas and expertise.

The theme for the 2026 international meeting is 'Technology for Efficiency in CE Agriculture', reflecting the increasing importance of innovation, automation and sustainability within controlled environment agriculture. Over four days, delegates will have the opportunity to attend presentations, technical discussions, networking sessions and facility tours focused on the latest developments shaping the sector.

As a long-standing supplier of environmental simulation and plant growth solutions, Weiss Technik UK is looking forward to engaging with researchers and facility managers to discuss how controlled environment technologies can support more reliable, efficient and sustainable research outcomes. Our team will be available throughout the event to share insights into our range of plant growth chambers, controlled environment rooms and bespoke solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of the scientific community.

Events such as CEUG provide an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas with industry peers, learn from ongoing research projects and contribute to conversations around the future of controlled environment science. We are excited to be part of this year's programme and look forward to meeting both familiar faces and new contacts from across the sector.
