Fitotron® Modular Plant Growth Chambers, Type HGC

Weiss Technik have a number of plant growth chambers in the Fitotron® HGC range, based on a modular design, meaning individual modules can be added or swapped as desired, to create a test growth chamber solution to meet your needs. This range is specifically designed to produce high light level growing conditions.

Our plant growth chambers are units used for plant cultivation under a range of advanced working conditions and through our modular design can be adapted for various applications. Plant growth chambers are predominantly designed to produce humidity and temperature environmental conditions that maximize plant growth, sometimes otherwise known as environmental chambers or terrestrial plant growth chambers. Our units are generally used in plant-based pharmaceutical applications though can be used for experimentation in the aerospace industry and for agricultural or scientific research.

The plant growth chambers in the Fitotron® HGC range, are suitable for plants that require a lot of light, such as wheat, maize, cotton, rice and C4 plants. 

  • 3 chamber sizes available
  • Programming of photoperiods using a touch panel or SCADA software
  • Growth area of 0.7 m2 to 1.5 m2
  • Growth height up to 2.1 m
  • Temperature module down to -10 °C available if desired
