Using a vacuum for drying uses a lower temperature than standard drying ovens as delicate samples require a more gentle drying process. Vacuum drying ovens are often used within the pharmaceutical, food, electronics and aerospace industries.

Weiss Technik supply the various products from the Thermo Scientific Vacutherm Vacuum Chambers range, which tailored to meet various heat treatment demands in a vacuum chamber using temperatures of up to 400°C, from simple heat treatments to more complicated treatments. This line of vacuum chambers are available in 3 executions:

Jacket-heated vacuum chamber drying ovens

Where the heat transfer is performed by a jacket to the products. Temperatures range up to 200°C

Shelf heated vacuum chamber drying ovens

Where the heat transfers directly from the shelf to the product(s). Temperatures range between 300°C and 400°C

Safe way of drying products with flammable solvents:

• Vacuum ovens are available in volumes of 25L, 53L and 128L
• Inner chambers are made from smooth rounded stainless steel
• Vacuum oven door is fitted with double safety glass
• Easy control
