This month, we turn to our service delivery team, where one member of the team took the opportunity to further enhance their skills and expertise.
Dilip Patel recognised the importance of staying up to date with best practices in the field of supply chain management. Eager to enhance his skill set, he took advantage of the opportunity to enroll in both the Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management courses offered by the Institute of Supply Chain Management (IoSCM). Dilip Patel dove into these courses, eager to gain insights that would not only benefit his personal growth, but also contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of Weiss Technik UK's supply chain processes.
IoSCM enables students to study at their own pace and in their own time, making it perfect for professionals who lead busy lives both at work and outside of work. As Dilip worked his way through the courses and a number of assignments, he found the training to be not only informative but directly applicable to his role within the company. The real-world scenarios presented in the IoSCM courses allowed Dilip to immediately apply his newfound knowledge to his role at Weiss Technik UK.
Explaining why he chose to sign up to the IoSCM courses, Dilip said,"I wanted to gain more knowledge and understanding of my job role. I have basic experience, but I wanted to improve my skill set to perform my duties more efficiently and manage the warehouse to a higher standard. The knowledge that I gained from the course has helped me to develop my skill set to understand my job role better."
He continued, "I would like to thank Weiss Technik for allowing me to have the opportunity to attend the course and further develop my skills to perform my job duties in professional manner.”
